According to the Gate.io News bot and a report by Politico, Donald Trump’s former key lobbyist Brian Ballard is currently sidelined by the White House. The incident stems from a cryptocurrency-related event that took place at the Mar-a-Lago resort in March this year. The report indicates that Ballard’s staff repeatedly requested Trump to post about “crypto strategic reserves” on Truth Social during the resort’s events. However, they did not inform Trump that Ripple Labs mentioned in the request is actually a client of Ballard. After the post was published, Trump felt he was being used and subsequently asked White House staff to keep their distance from Ballard.
