Golden Finance reported that House Speaker Mike Johnson is pressuring the Senate to make as few changes as possible to the large spending and tax cut plan passed by the House last week, in order to advance President Donald Trump’s agenda. He warned that if senators make significant changes, it could send the bill back to a version that cannot pass the House again. In an interview, Johnson stated, “We have reached a very delicate balance here, a delicate equilibrium that took a long time to achieve, and it is best not to interfere too much.”
