Bloomberg Analyst Mike McGlone's Warning on Bitcoin (BTC)! "At a Risky Turning Point!"

The competition between Bitcoin and gold has been ongoing for years. At this point, while one BTC is gaining an advantage over one gold, Mike McGlone warned that Bitcoin is approaching a risky turning point.

Bloomberg Intelligence senior analyst Mike McGlone stated that Bitcoin volatility has dropped to its lowest level of all time.

According to this, the historically low volatility of Bitcoin compared to gold and the S&P 500 could indicate a significant upside potential for BTC.

However, the analyst also stated that this situation poses a significant risk for Bitcoin. According to the analyst, the risky side and the tendency for correction weigh more heavily for Bitcoin.

At this point, the analyst noted that Bitcoin is approaching a key test in terms of its potential for further gains, stating that the record low level of BTC’s annual volatility against gold in early June indicates that the market has matured.

McGlone stated that Bitcoin’s maturation could reduce its chances for significant rallies and that the current low volatility amidst the bull market could also increase systemic risks for the increasingly politicized BTC.

“Bitcoin’s 60-day volatility has reached a record low compared to gold and the S&P 500.”

This situation indicates that, considering the restoration of balance among assets, there may be a corrective trend for Bitcoin against gold.

And given the balance between Bitcoin and traditional assets, it could also signal an impending correction for Bitcoin.

In the past, periods of low volatility typically occurred in an environment of extreme pessimism, but this time, with optimism prevailing in the market, systemic risk may become more pronounced.
