Prosecutors in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Territory reported the seizure of a 30,000-square-meter open-pit illegal crypto mine in a state-owned industrial zone in Nazarovo, CryptoNews reported. With a monthly production value of about 4.6 million rubles (US$58,700), the facility uses a large number of transformers, generators and mining machines, and is privately connected to the municipal grid for electricity. The company had previously ignored prosecutors’ warnings, and the court eventually ordered a total halt to its operations.
