On June 19, Iran’s Fars News Agency said that the claim that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s official residence was attacked by Israel was a rumor. “After the Supreme Leader addressed the Iranian people, Israeli media began spreading rumors that his whereabouts had been discovered and targeted,” the Fars news agency reported. The claim is absurd and baseless, and suggests that the decisive remarks made by Iran’s supreme leader today are causing panic in the United States and Israel, people familiar with the matter said. ”
