The Federal Reserve (FED) dot plot: still expects two rate cuts this year, but the number of officials hoping for no rate cuts is increasing.

According to ChainCatcher news and Jin10 data reports, the Federal Reserve’s dot plot shows that among 19 officials, 7 officials believe there will be no rate cuts in 2025 (4 in March), 2 officials believe there should be a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points in 2025, meaning 1 rate cut (4 in March), 8 officials believe there should be a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points in 2025, meaning 2 rate cuts (9 in March), and 2 officials believe there should be a cumulative rate cut of 75 basis points in 2025, meaning 3 rate cuts (2 in March).
