According to Gate News bot, the activity of Optimism’s super on-chain Layer 2 Ink has surged ahead of its token launch.
Last week, the Ink Foundation announced the issuance of 1 billion INK Tokens and conducted a community airdrop through the liquidity pool on Aave.
According to data from Dune Analytics, the activity of Ink has significantly increased, with daily transaction volume exceeding 500,000, and the number of active contracts nearly doubling since May, reaching a peak of 6,000 on June 18.
However, its TVL is still below $8 million, indicating that there is significant capital growth potential for this blockchain.
The Ink mainnet will launch in December 2024, ahead of the originally planned launch time in the first quarter of 2025.
