Raini Studios announces that it will cease operations of the card game Raini: The Lords of Light on Avalanche on July 21, after distributing 2 million RST tokens ( worth approximately 3,340 USD ) as the final reward.
The game once attracted attention with gameplay similar to Hearthstone and a humorous style inspired by crypto culture. Although it once awarded more than 1 million USD, Raini currently lacks enough players to sustain operation.
Raini Studios will pivot to develop two new games: Lucha Throwdown and Uncaged: The Jon Jones Brawler. At the same time, RST will implement a token burn mechanism from revenue to reduce supply.
Token RST increased by 14% during the day, but is still down nearly 99% compared to the peak in March 2024.
