Jin10 reported on July 19 that on July 18 local time, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the fiscal year 2026 defense appropriations bill with a vote of 221 in favor and 209 against, totaling approximately $832 billion. It is reported that the bill includes funding for strengthening missile defense, increasing weapon procurement and research funding, and incorporates the funding plan for the development of the “Iron Dome” missile defense system proposed by President Trump.
