Previously, Zhao Dong was arrested in June 2020 on suspicion of aiding and abetting crimes and illegal business operations. According to court records, Zhao Dong's team had provided over-the-counter virtual currency exchange services for the “Tian Tian Xiang Shang” platform, with the amount involved reaching 3.1 billion yuan. After pleading guilty and accepting punishment, Zhao Dong was sentenced to 2 years in prison and fined, with probation applied. The case involves illegal settlement and providing funding flow for the gambling black and gray industry. Zhao Dong's appearance this time may signify the end of his sentence.
