The Japanese Foreign Minister spoke about the restoration of UN sanctions against Iran.

On September 29, Jin10 reported that Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono stated on the 28th regarding the resumption of UN sanctions against Iran related to the Iranian nuclear issue: “It is regrettable that relevant parties have failed to reach a Consensus despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.” The statement emphasized that “it is important to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through dialogue, which remains Japan's position.” He also called for the US and Iran to resume consultations while demanding that Iran comply with the UN Security Council resolutions and restore cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
