Jay A, the founder of the AI research lab nof1, announced that their Alpha Arena platform has launched the groundbreaking challenge “AI trading showdown”. The competition features six leading AI models — including Grok4, Deepseek, GPT, and Claude — all trading cryptocurrencies with real capital instead of simulations.
The goal is to assess the decision-making ability, adaptability, and performance of each model under real market conditions. On the very first day, Grok4 impressed with a profit of over 500% by accurately capturing the reversal point from short to long.
However, Deepseek later emerged thanks to a clear strategy of taking profits and cutting losses, demonstrating better risk management and more stable profits. This event has sparked much debate about whether AI could soon surpass humans in real-time cryptocurrency trading.
