Coinbase Global has reached an acquisition agreement for Echo — an onchain fundraising platform for crypto companies — for approximately 375 million USD. This is Coinbase's eighth deal this year, amid the largest exchange in America leveraging growth due to crypto-friendly policies under President Trump.

Echo, founded by veteran investor Cobie, allows projects to raise funds directly from the community through private or public sales using the Sonar tool. Since its launch, Echo has helped over 300 projects raise more than 200 million USD.

Coinbase stated that this merger will create a comprehensive solution for crypto projects and investors — from issuance, fundraising to secondary trading — while expanding support to real-world assets in the future.
