The American retail group Bealls has announced that it has begun accepting cryptocurrency payments at its stores, through a partnership with the digital payment company Flexa.

According to the press release, this retail chain has integrated Flexa Payments, allowing the acceptance of over 99 types of cryptocurrencies from more than 300 different digital wallets.

Founded in Florida in 1915, Bealls currently operates over 660 stores across America. Customers at Bealls, Bealls Florida, and Home Centric can now pay with cryptocurrency.

Co-founder of Flexa, Mr. Trevor Filter, commented: “The 110-year legacy that Bealls has built is truly remarkable. It is no surprise that a company with such endurance is at the forefront of adopting this revolutionary payment technology.”

As of early 2025, approximately 65 million Americans – equivalent to 28% of adults – own cryptocurrency, according to the report.
