Reportedly, x402 is a Web3 payment standard designed based on the HTTP 402 status code. OKX Wallet provides efficient and user-friendly APIs and SDKs based on the x402 protocol, supporting pay-per-use billing, with payments settled directly on the blockchain. OKX CEO Star tweeted that AI and on-chain infrastructure are rapidly developing, and x402 is leading this transformation. This represents the future of decentralized collaboration, evolving from API micro-payments and machine-to-machine automation to gasless transactions and seamless AI integration—all progressing continuously.
