The Dark Side of the Moon releases the strongest open-source thinking model: Kimi K2 Thinking

Jin10 Data, November 8th: On November 6th, Moon’s Dark Side announced the release of Kimi K2 Thinking, our most powerful open-source thinking model. As a thinking model, Kimi K2 Thinking performs step-by-step reasoning while using tools. It has achieved state-of-the-art results in HLE, BrowseComp, and other benchmarks, making significant progress in reasoning, agent search, coding, writing, and general capabilities. Kimi K2 Thinking can execute up to 200-300 consecutive tool calls without human intervention, conducting coherent reasoning over hundreds of steps to solve complex problems.
