Deep Tide TechFlow News, November 11th, EF dAI Team leader Davide Crapis announced that the decentralized artificial intelligence (dAI) team has released a 2026 roadmap aimed at establishing Ethereum as a global decentralized settlement and coordination infrastructure for artificial intelligence.

The team stated that AI systems are gaining control over funds, data, and physical behaviors, with trust, provenance proof, and verifiability becoming bottlenecks for secure adoption. If Ethereum does not lead development, closed platforms or centralized entities will control the emerging AI economy.

The article mentions that ERC-8004 and x402 are emerging as neutral standards for intelligent agent commerce. In the three months from August to November 2025, the dAI team has made significant progress. Their ERC-8004 standard is used to standardize agent identities, reputation, and cryptographic verification, with over 150 projects built on it and a community of over 1,000 members. It has become the most discussed formal improvement proposal on the Ethereum Magicians Forum over the past year. Additionally, the team contributed the x402 protocol, supporting authenticated paid network requests.
