Co-founder of Hyperliquid, Jeff Yan, stated that TradeXYZ, Ventuals, and Felix Protocol have introduced HIP 3, marking an important step forward by allowing the deployment of perpetual (perpetual futures market) without the need for licensing on Hyperliquid. According to Yan, the development team spent months perfecting the core protocol and deployment toolkit before launching this update.
HIP 3 is expected to enhance capital efficiency and improve price discovery capabilities in the global market. By leveraging Hyperliquid's on-chain infrastructure, developers can deploy derivative products flexibly, quickly, and without the need for a centralized approval mechanism.
This move is seen as a significant boost for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, expanding opportunities for building decentralized financial products and supporting innovation in the cryptocurrency space.
