China Begins Production of Flying Cars, Will Export to BRICS Countries

China has started trial production of its most-awaited flying cars, according to the latest report from CGTN. The cars will be equipped with vertical take-off and landing capabilities. The trial production began in early November in a large-scale manufacturing unit. The factory, with a 120,000-square-meter area, has a production capacity of up to 10,000 units. China will export the first batch of flying cars to BRICS members, the UAE, and Russia.

The orders for the flying cars have come from BRICS members, the UAE, and Russia. The company plans to mass-produce the equipment and begin exports by 2026. The machines comprise a six-wheel ground vehicle called the “mother ship,” the company said. Also, the aircraft will be equipped with a detachable electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

China states that the air mobile can be driven on public roads with a standard license. The company explained that the air mobile can also be parked in regular parking spaces.
