According to Foresight News and reported by The Verge, Trump is considering signing an executive order as early as November 21. This executive order would grant the federal government unilateral authority to regulate artificial intelligence, including the establishment of an “AI Litigation Special Task Force” supervised by the Attorney General, with members including the White House's crypto assets and AI director, David Sacks. Its sole responsibility would be to challenge state AI laws. The task force would have the authority to sue state governments deemed to be obstructing the development of the AI industry.
