Kalshi announces becoming the official prediction market partner of CNN. Accordingly, Kalshi’s prediction data will be used by CNN as a supplementary tool for news reporting, allowing the newsroom and data team to access real-time probabilities about cultural and political events. Under the guidance of data expert Harry Enten, Kalshi’s data will be integrated into multiple CNN programs, along with a new real-time bulletin board provided by Kalshi.
Kalshi stated that the platform has become an important reference source for journalists, politicians, and the financial sector. Meanwhile, the CEO of Polymarket recently commented that prediction markets are currently the most accurate forecasting tool. The two leading platforms have reached a total volume of over $45 billion this year, even though the industry is still criticized as being similar to gambling, with Kalshi currently facing a class-action lawsuit.
