The son of a high-ranking Ukrainian official was abused and killed by a classmate because of cryptocurrency, and the suspect included the stepson of the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria

Golden Finance reports that a heinous murder case occurred recently in Vienna. 21-year-old Ukrainian exchange student Danyla Kuzmin (son of the Deputy Mayor of Kharkiv) was murdered by classmates over cryptocurrency assets. He and his classmates revealed that after his father was revealed to hold cryptocurrencies, he was lured to a parking lot by 19-year-old classmate Bogdan (son-in-law of the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria) and 45-year-old former customs officer Alexander, where he was subjected to prolonged torture and interrogation for his crypto wallet password. After obtaining the assets, the suspects abandoned him in a car and set it on fire before fleeing back to Ukraine. Currently, both individuals are detained by Ukrainian authorities, and the case is still under investigation.
