Hong Kong Legislative Council Member Wu Jiezhong successfully re-elected, promising to continue promoting Web3 development

PANews December 14 News, Hong Kong Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang successfully re-elected as the eighth-term Hong Kong Legislative Council member. During the election process, he stated that he will continue to promote the development of Web3 in Hong Kong and assist the Hong Kong SAR government in developing frontier industries such as embodied intelligence, quantum computing, and space technology. In addition, Wu Jiezhuang responded to recent questions about Hong Kong’s development of Web3. Wu Jiezhuang believes that there will be no significant changes in the development of Hong Kong stablecoins and that progress will continue steadily. Regarding RWA, Hong Kong has already promoted a regulatory sandbox. Wu Jiezhuang believes that different industries can boldly experiment by integrating Web3 technology, which is believed to drive the development of numerous real-world applications. Meanwhile, Wu Jiezhuang stated that in the future, he will assist the industry in building a talent ecosystem and promote more developers and practitioners to settle in Hong Kong.
