The 5th Breakpoint successfully took place in Abu Dhabi. As the largest and most influential ecosystem conference in the Solana ecosystem, Breakpoint often carries the community’s expectations for value assessment, future direction, and wealth secrets exchange.

During the Breakpoint cycle, the Solana Foundation and Colosseum hosted the Solana Cypherpunk Hackathon, gaining significant exposure and attention. This hackathon gathered entrepreneurs and developers from over 150 countries, with more than 9,000 participants forming teams to submit 1,576 projects. Covering infrastructure, consumer applications, DeFi, stablecoins, RWA, and various undefined tracks, this became the largest crypto-themed hackathon to date.

Below is a detailed review of the award-winning projects from Odaily Planet Daily. In the current bear market and narrative exhaustion, these new projects not only carry certain investment opportunities but also have the potential to ignite the next cycle, pushing the industry toward a new wave of explosion.

Overall Champion: Unruggable

X Link:

Introduction: Unruggable is the first hardware wallet and supporting application designed specifically for Solana, aiming to create a simple, fast, user-friendly, and fully optimized self-custody solution for Solana. Existing hardware wallets are mostly multi-chain designed, supporting various blockchains but lacking deep optimization for any one chain, and support for Solana is often secondary—for example, Ledger will only support SLP tokens in 2025.

Through Unruggable hardware wallet and app, users can directly perform swaps, staking, lending, earning yields, transfers, and asset management. Unruggable deeply integrates Jito for transaction optimization and has native features such as Squads multi-signature, Jupiter lending and swapping, Titan aggregation trading, Anza privacy transfers, SNS, DeFi Carrot, Privacy Cash, etc.

Unruggable aims to provide Solana with the speed and convenience of hot wallets while achieving cold wallet-level security, allowing users to complete secure setup in less than 30 seconds. The supporting app is compatible across platforms, fully open source, and all written in Rust.

Sub-division: Consumer Applications

1st Place: Capitola

X Link:

Introduction: Capitola is a prediction market aggregator that allows users to bet on all events across platforms at the best prices.

2nd Place: Superfan

X Link:

Introduction: Superfan is a metaverse record label built on Solana and MetaDAO infrastructure, aiming to turn fans’ beliefs into artists’ credit through prediction market mechanisms. Fans can hold tokens representing shares in the label, vote on which artists to fund, and benefit from repayments.

Introduction: Fora is a social trading platform supporting group chats and a prediction market protocol.

4th Place: Toaster.trade

X Link:

Introduction: Toaster.trade is a lightweight trading platform on Solana driven by Hyperliquid.

5th Place: Nomu

X Link:

Introduction: Nomu is a marketplace platform that allows users to purchase products in advance and earn rewards when the product is sold. Nomu aims to build a two-way feedback business ecosystem, rather than a unidirectional consumer chain. When consumers support a product, their purchase not only funds the product but also injects into a transparent reward pool. As the community buys, trades, and promotes, the reward pool grows. When the product launches successfully, participants who drive this process share the profits. Nomu turns consumption into liquid capital rather than sunk costs.

2nd Place: Kormos

X Link:

Introduction: Kormos seeks to create a high-yield, leverage-free solution for Solana through fractional reserve mechanisms. Kormos Vaults intelligently allocate user funds within the Solana DeFi ecosystem, with depositors divided into two roles.

Liquid depositors—enjoy higher yields (compared to other liquidity DeFi yields), but in case of a “bank run,” they must wait in a FIFO queue for redemption (normal redemption is immediate).
Locked depositors—enjoy even higher yields (compared to similar-term assets), can choose redemption cycles, with longer cycles offering higher yields.

Kormos has a deposit protection mechanism, with locked depositors providing buffers for liquid depositors, and in case of protocol losses, they bear losses first.

3rd Place: Rekt

X Link:

Introduction: Rekt is a mobile trading app designed to make trading easy for ordinary users through a simple, gamified experience. With Rekt, users can start predicting BTC, ETH, or SOL directions with just $1, without requiring large capital or deep financial knowledge.

4th Place: Archer

X Link:

Introduction: Archer is a MEV-resistant trading protocol that protects market makers from adverse selection and front-running, offering the most competitive prices.

Its innovative matching engine allows market makers to compete purely by providing the best prices and depth, minimizing multiple MEV attacks targeting market makers and takers.

5th Place: Hobba

X Link:

Introduction: Hobba aims to build safer, more efficient, and hassle-free lending services. Hobba automatically allocates liquidity across Solana to obtain the best interest rates, generating yields from idle funds, and uses these yields to continuously repay user loans.

When collateral assets appreciate, Hobba accelerates repayments; when their value drops, off-chain risk engines automatically adjust positions to ensure user safety.

Sub-division: Infrastructure

1st Place: Seer

X Link: None available

Introduction: Seer is a groundbreaking tool for Solana transaction debugging. Similar to Tenderly on EVM, it fully displays function execution and line-by-line tracking, including source code mapping, standard Solana logs and errors, and local variable snapshots at specific locations.

2nd Place: Corbits

X Link:

Introduction: Corbits enables AI agents to pay API fees instantly via x402 protocol—no accounts, no keys, pay-as-you-go. For merchants, adding payment methods takes only hours; endpoint proxy setup takes minutes; transactions are processed instantly.

3rd Place: Ionic

X Link: None available

Introduction: Ionic builds the missing data aggregation layer for Solana. With 0.4-second block times and over 800 transactions per second, Solana generates massive data, making traditional tools nearly incapable of handling complex real-time analytics. Ionic’s pre-processed analytics can return results in milliseconds, while traditional tools like Dune and BitQuery take minutes.

Target customers include projects migrating to Solana and platforms requiring complex real-time data.

4th Place: Pine Analytics

1st Place: Autonom

X Link:

Introduction: Autonom is a oracle designed for real-world assets, capable of dynamically pricing on-chain based on company behavior, addressing the current off-chain asset valuation issues in the blockchain market.

Currently, real-world assets (especially stocks) have not truly entered the perpetual contract space, at least not widely in the Solana ecosystem. The key reason is that stocks undergo various corporate actions (splits, dividends, mergers), affecting their prices, which existing oracles do not consider.

2nd Place: Bore.fi

X Link: None available

Introduction: Bore.fi aims to bring boring but cash-flow-stable enterprises onto the chain.

“Builders, laundromats, logistics companies… the world is full of boring, cash-flow-stable, profitable businesses. They don’t chase hot trends but keep generating cash. Bore.fi plans to acquire these boring businesses and tokenize them, turning steady cash flow into blockchain revenue-generating machines, creating the world’s first tokenized SME private equity protocol. Real-world income does not come from leverage or meme coins but from—these businesses we are bringing onto Solana.”

3rd Place: Legasi

X Link:

Introduction: Legasi introduces institutional-grade long-term lending into the digital era through crypto-backed Lombard loans. As a compliant on-chain credit layer, Legasi allows anyone to borrow fiat instantly by collateralizing their digital assets.

4th Place: Pencil Finance

X Link:

Introduction: Pencil Finance is the first DeFi protocol to bring real-world student loans onto the chain, creating a new income-generating asset class backed by education.

Partnering with certified student loan originators in emerging markets, Pencil Finance tokenizes loan pools into risk-tiered tranches. Global investors can participate via fixed-yield senior tokens or high-yield junior NFTs, with transparent on-chain repayment and default handling.

3rd Place: Cloak

X Link:

Introduction: Cloak seeks to enable privacy payments on Solana. It will build a privacy fund pool, where miners within the ecosystem submit valid work and generate transaction traffic to maintain network privacy, ensuring activity isn’t solely dependent on user traffic. On-chain, only the path “fund pool → recipient” is visible, not “sender → recipient.” Each deposit and miner-processed withdrawal continuously expands the anonymous pool.

1st Place: attn.markets

X Link:

Introduction: attn.markets aims to tokenize the nearly $2.7 billion in total revenue of the Solana ecosystem to unlock more DeFi possibilities. Currently, the annual revenue of Solana applications is estimated at $1.72 billion, e.g., Pump.fun’s creator rewards alone generate $300 million annually. Such massive capital flows are still completely outside the DeFi ecosystem.

2nd Place: Echo

X Link:

Introduction: Echo seeks to build an automated expert network that precisely matches scientists with funders, greatly reducing the time cost of verifying scientific results.

3rd Place: PlaiPin

X Link:

Introduction: PlaiPin is a wearable plush robot partner and interaction protocol that, combined with decentralized digital identities (DID), enables embodied social interactions and supports proximity-based agent trading.
