Techub News: The Lighter team marketing lead Pilla.eth shared some details about the TGE during an AMA event: The TGE and airdrop will take place in 2025, with the airdrop accounting for 25% of the total supply and no lock-up restrictions. The airdrop does not require claiming and will be directly deposited into the Lighter wallet of token holders. 50% of the token supply will be allocated to the community, with more details on the tokenomics to be announced gradually. There will be token buybacks, but the specific amount is undecided. The LIT token was initially only tradable on the Lighter platform. Coinbase and Bybit have added LIT to their roadmaps. The team will not pay for listings. There will be no official Lighter NFT, but some community NFTs are acknowledged. Meme coin airdrops are also rumors.
