Huang Renxun announced: Generative AI is not truly underway yet; the next phase is the key!

PANews

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s latest conversation with Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing provides a clear judgment on the next stage of AI: Generative AI has completed its evolution from text to multimodal, but this is only the prologue. A more significant turning point is coming — “agent-based AI” with reasoning, execution, and problem-solving capabilities.

Huang pointed out that the future of AI is not just about improvements in model capabilities, but systemic changes: public cloud frontier models will merge with enterprise-specific models, running on enterprise-grade servers and infrastructure, thereby supporting truly scalable enterprise AI.

In his view, this evolutionary path will bring AI into a broader real-world context, including AI cloud, AI factories, industrial AI, and even robot AI. AI is no longer just a tool but is becoming a fundamental productivity system across industries. This is the core highlight of the next stage.
