Senate Agriculture Committee advances CLARITY discussion draft to maintain bipartisan consensus
ChainCatcher news, reporter Eleanor Terrett stated that the Senate Agriculture Committee has been advancing discussions on the CLARITY bill draft for several months to ensure bipartisan consensus. Although there is still uncertainty as they approach a key milestone, such efforts are not common within Congress.
She also recalled that last summer, parts of the CLARITY bill pushed by the House Agriculture GOP received clear bipartisan support with a vote of 47 in favor and 6 against.
