Bloomberg: Nvidia-backed AI infrastructure company Nscale is in talks for $2 billion funding

According to Bloomberg, AI infrastructure company Nscale is in talks for a new funding round of approximately $2 billion, working with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase to advance the deal.

Nscale was spun off from a cryptocurrency mining company in 2024, providing AI computing infrastructure. The company has raised over $1.5 billion in funding in September-October 2025, after announcing partnerships with NVIDIA and OpenAI.

Microsoft is working with Nscale and local partners to build a $10 billion data center in Portugal and plans to lease data center capacity from Nscale in Norway and the UK.
