The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will vote on the CLARITY Act on the 15th.

BlockBeats News, January 11 — According to the U.S. Senate schedule, the Senate Banking Committee will hold a cryptocurrency market structure hearing at 10:00 AM Eastern Time on January 15, and will vote on the CLARITY Act. The bill aims to combat false trading, deceptive trading, fake trading volume, and mandates the provision of reserve proof, with the hope of ultimately resolving long-standing cryptocurrency regulatory issues.

Some analysts point out that if the bill passes, market manipulation could decrease by 70% to 80%, and large institutional funds may flow into the cryptocurrency market more quickly by 2026.

If the vote passes, the bill will be submitted to the full Senate for a vote, then returned to the House of Representatives for final approval, and finally signed into law by President Trump.
