Web3 Identity Layer idOS to Launch IDOS Token, Announcing Economic System and Revenue Sources

Foresight News report, the decentralized identity protocol idOS announces the IDOS token economy and revenue sources: The IDOS token is based on the ERC-20 standard, deployed on Arbitrum One, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens. The tokens are mainly used for staking to protect the storage network, protocol value capture and distribution, and to promote the protocol’s gradual decentralization. Regarding revenue sources, the protocol fees include: Gas fees (generated by data read/write operations, 100% goes to node operators) and access authorization fees (paid in stablecoins, with the protocol initially taking 25%). In addition to protocol fees, other entities (such as data issuers) can also generate income by utilizing the idOS protocol.

Foresight News previous report, idOS completed a $4.5 million financing in July 2024, led by Fabric Ventures.
