LayerZero launches the 'Donation Proof' claiming mechanism and donates $18.5 million to Protocol Guild

Golden Finance reported that LayerZero has launched a new claiming mechanism called ‘Donation Proof’, which will donate up to $18.5 million to the Protocol Guild, a collective funding mechanism for Ethereum Layer 1 developers. To claim ZRO, users must donate 0.10 USDC, USDT, or native ETH for each ZRO, and this small donation will be directly donated to Protocol Guild. According to the on-chain contract of Protocol Guild, the donations received by Protocol Guild will be redeemed within four years. LayerZero Foundation will match all donations, up to a maximum of 10 million US dollars.
