On September 19th, Jin Shi data reported that NIO has no response to the news of the planned acquisition of Audi’s Belgian factory. Recently, there have been reports that NIO is in talks to acquire Audi’s factory in Brussels, Belgium, and will submit an offer to the Volkswagen Group before next Monday. This factory is Audi’s first electric car factory, mainly responsible for Audi Q8 e-tron. Due to poor sales, Audi plans to restructure the Brussels factory, which has been shut down since early September. There were also previous reports that Audi is seeking new investors for the factory.
