Yum Brands has removed onions from some KFC and other stores, after a previous outbreak of E. coli infection in the United States.

On October 25th, Jin10 Data reported that Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC, announced that fresh onions will be delisted from some KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell stores due to caution following the recent outbreak of E. coli infections related to McDonald’s stores in several parts of the United States.
