Regulatory work on cryptocurrencies continues, while new statements come from SPK President İbrahim Ömer Gönül.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Gönül made important statements about market regulations, public offerings, and efforts regarding crypto assets.

Gönül, who stated that secondary regulations regarding cryptocurrencies came very soon in the past days, announced in today’s statement that the regulations will be released in January.

The head of the Capital Markets Board (SPK) also stated that the establishment and operational conditions of the platforms will be clarified in order to increase investor security.

We hope to complete the secondary regulations related to cryptocurrency platforms hopefully within January and release them.

We will discuss topics such as how these platforms are established and how the crypto investor can be kept safe.

*When we say keeping it safe, we are working on determining the rules and principles of working with hiders and platforms within its natural habitat in order to ensure the security of the system. We determine the conditions for the establishment of the company and the conditions for conducting transactions. We also work with TÜBİTAK and MASAK on all matters related to the security systems.
