Trump: Will build a purely American-made missile defense system

Trump said at the ‘Turning Point USA’ rally in Arizona: ‘I will order our military to start building a large ‘Iron Dome’ missile defense shield completely made in America.’ Trump said that former U.S. President Reagan had planned to build a similar missile defense system, but at that time the U.S. military did not have the necessary technology. Trump also said he believes that the current defense capabilities will enable the United States to ‘shoot down a long wick candle falling from the sky.’
