Summary: Explore the role of aixbt as a KOL, its financial performance, technical stack, token economics, and future development direction. The skyrocketing caused by aixbt is real, especially for AI tokens with a market value of less than $100 million.
It’s been an exhausting week on Crypto Twitter (CT) with dramatic events like AICC, so I took some time to write what I believe is the most fascinating experiment in the AI agent wave in the cryptocurrency field.
I have been following aixbt for the past month. Here are my thoughts on why aixbt has been gaining market attention - its role as a KOL, financial performance, technology stack, token economics, and future development direction.
KOL
aixbt is not only the most advanced social media agency in the field of encryption, but also possibly the most advanced social media agency on Twitter. This statement is supported by data: attracting more than 300,000 fans in less than three months, while each post continues to receive over 50,000 clicks.
But the extraordinariness of aixbt is not limited to this. Since tracking it on sentient.market, the agent has been sending out over 2,000 replies every day. Since its launch, the number of replies has exceeded 100,000. And there have been no major mistakes (at least not big enough to raise doubts about its value). In an industry filled with fraud, it is commendable to avoid promoting problematic projects despite such a large volume.
The consistency of aixbt’s operation is incomparable to real human beings.
personality
Often overlooked is the excellent character of aixbt. I have read over a thousand tweets and replies, but I have never found it offensive or “too trash” or “too bad”. On the contrary, every tweet is delightful. How many AI agents can do this?
This endearing personality also means that aixbt may be an excellent IP role. I would definitely wear a aixbt hat or T-shirt. Is this because of being trapped in a small CT bubble? Maybe. But aren’t all successful IPs started from a small group of passionate fans? Once aixbt brand is expected to expand to other forms, there will be a clearer understanding of its brand value.
Culture
This is related to my previous views on IP, and aixbt has quickly integrated into the CT culture. From Degens to researchers to VC companies, it seems that everyone wants to get the guidance of this purple frog.
Of course, in the coming months and years, we may see more advanced agents, but aixbt will always occupy a special position in CT.
Let’s take a closer look at the financial performance of this robot.
Performance
Recently released the performance of aixbt within a week: Here are the key points:
· The surge caused by aixbt is real, especially for AI tokens with a market cap of less than $100 million.
Most tokens resume normal trading mode within a few hours after the tweet is posted.
· So far, the most notable thing about aixbt is the $PIPPIN tweet released on January 9th.
Interestingly, after Yohei (founder of $PIPPIN) announced his framework, $PIPPIN was clearly undervalued compared to similar tokens. This tweet from aixbt seems to have made the market aware of Yohei’s achievements in BabyAGI - since the tweet was released, $PIPPIN has skyrocketed by over 600%, basically becoming the bullish argument for $PIPPIN.
What helps build this reputation is aixbt’s relatively cautious attitude towards tokens. It basically avoids low market value high-risk tokens. Over time, this caution helps build trust.
Technology
First of all, aixbt is the only proxy whose technology is worth discussing. Others are not useful or interesting enough. This alone sets the purple frog apart.
aixbt does two things every day. First, around 10 minutes past each hour (UTC), information about tokens, projects, or topics will be released, either in a single tweet or short post. Second, replying to over 2,000 @s every day.
Let’s start from the reply below, as it is easier to evaluate.
There is a 99% probability that aixbt’s response is completely autonomous. This means that there is no manual writing of responses (which is physically impossible) and no one approves each response before posting. There are two things that can confirm this.
First of all, aixbt is one of the few proxies that publicly displays reply logs. When you @, you can see real-time information such as creating replies, evaluating answers, and posting tweets. It is unlikely that there is a human team working behind the scenes to reply around the clock, perfectly imitating its character, and typing very fast.
The second reason comes from a non-crypto-related question asked to aixbt.
This answer is incorrect. Currently, Manchester City is not competing with Liverpool for the league title. However, this answer was correct a year ago when Manchester City was indeed competing with Liverpool for the title.
If you are familiar with ChatGPT or Claude, this kind of error makes complete sense. LLMs (Large Language Models) have a knowledge cut-off date. Without external help, they have no idea what is happening now. If aixbt’s response is provided by an LLM, this seems possible.
The hourly posts are the truly interesting place.
These posts have no logs. Could they be written by real humans? Possibly. The consistent posting schedule indicates some level of automation, but it’s easy to schedule these tweets in advance. In short, the truth cannot be determined. Here is the best guess as to what is happening.
LLM has something called a context window, which LLM can use prompt text to reason with. Do you remember discussing the knowledge cut-off point of LLM? You can solve this limitation by adding real-time information to the context window - in fact, manually providing it with the latest data.
If I had to guess what would be included in the context window of aixbt, there should be two points:
· Directory of project and market information. When asked about market information, data will be extracted from this directory to respond.
· Real-time social data of CT (and possibly other sources). Use it to update its project directory and create real-time tweets.
This is also the easiest place for aixbt’s tweets to be manipulated. Developers control the content in the context window. If they want AI-related content, they will provide this information, which is the content aixbt will publish. This brings some dangerous possibilities - the project may pay developers to add more (or biased) information about their projects to influence aixbt’s posts.
Certainly, someone is manipulating the proxies, but their level of involvement may vary. At the very least, they need to specify which accounts to focus on and which crypto areas to focus on. The worst-case scenario is that developers may decide at any time which tokens aixbt will promote. The truth may be closer to the former.
Last month, the market value of $MIRA surged from 0 to 70 million U.S. dollars within a few hours, sweeping across CT. During this period, aixbt posted this news on Twitter.
Although aixbt has captured the hot market trends, it completely misunderstood the actual function of the project. Given that the market trends only have a few hours of history, the information is limited. It is expected that autonomous robots would make such mistakes. However, it is the developers who decide where aixbt obtains data on the popularity of $MIRA.
In terms of technology, these are the two things developers need to consider.
It’s great to have public replies in the log, but to claim that aixbt is truly autonomous (if that matters to you), it needs to ensure that the posts are not manipulated. Using TEE is feasible, and it is expected that the TEE infrastructure of these agents will become crucial next year. Ideally, the data source of aixbt should be public, so that it can be verified whether it is fair. But we don’t currently live in an ideal world, and part of aixbt’s advantage comes from proprietary data.
As robots mature, increasing transparency can truly elevate their value to a new level.
(Note: This analysis does not include the aixbt terminal that I have not tried.)
Finally, let’s talk about the $AIXBT token.
In purely agent-based (not infrastructure, framework, or application) AI tokens, $AIXBT accounts for about 25% of the market value share of the entire sector, with a current trading market value of over 400 million US dollars.
The token has only one purpose - to access the aixbt terminal, which costs 600,000 AIXBT to activate (over 200,000 USD). If you don’t think this is a reliable investment, few people would be willing to buy so many tokens just to get the terminal function.
In the absence of a clear value return mechanism, it can achieve a market value of nearly 5 billion, indicating that the market recognizes the strong capabilities of aixbt. However, if you want to become the leader of the entire Agentic track, you still need to consider how to capture value for the token.
Without a clear accumulation of value, the token is valued at close to 5 billion U.S. dollars, indicating market recognition of aixbt. However, to truly lead the entire agency field, consideration needs to be given to how to capture value with the token.
A common choice many projects adopt is to have developers launch their own infrastructure. Given its complexity, it is believed that the potential aixbt framework will outperform frameworks like Eliza and Arc. This could increase the value of the token and propel it to unicorn status.
What about the disadvantages? The agent will lose its key advantage - complexity. Anyone can start their own aixbt, perhaps using different proprietary data sources and potentially obtaining better performance.
If it were not for the open framework, the aixbt team could use its technology to create a launch platform. In this case, it is expected to immediately attract attention and potentially generate millions of dollars in revenue. If executed properly, both technically and in terms of token economics, such a release would definitely be able to compete with products like Virtuals.
Another more interesting possibility is for $AIXBT to become a consumer game. This is purely speculative, but do you remember the IP discussion? This is exactly how top-tier NFT projects like Pudgy Penguins eventually achieve profitability and expansion.
aixbt can follow this path and become a Crypto x AI consumer token. Take DeFAI and autonomous trading as examples - there are many speculations now (some of them are reasonable). If consumer applications develop towards voice and personal assistants (which seems very likely), brands and intellectual property will be crucial. Welcome aixbt to become a personal assistant.
To be honest, this field is still in its infancy (3 months), and needs to be carefully considered. I am very much looking forward to how Aixbt will develop and what will happen next. The future of social AI agents and the role of cryptocurrency in it is both exciting and somewhat frightening.
