OKX Ventures attends Solana Hong Kong summit detailing key cooperation directions

On February 18, 2025, the highly anticipated Solana Hong Kong Summit grandly opened. As an important event for the Solana ecosystem in Asia, this event attracted top developers, investment institutions, and ecosystem project representatives to jointly explore and look forward to the development of the Solana ecosystem. OKX Ventures partner Jeff Ren was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech.

Solana Foundation Chairman Lily Liu kicked off the summit. In her opening remarks, Lily reviewed the tremendous growth of the Solana Chinese Market (MCM) from 2023 to the present. Through diverse online and offline activities, as well as the promotion of Solar, the community size, developer participation, and community project financing have all achieved amazing growth. ‘What’s Next?’ Lily expressed her hope for a tenfold growth in the overall community scale, Network Performance, and Solar Contributor in the future.

Following Lily’s outlook, OKX Ventures partner Jeff Ren as the opening keynote speaker, shared the vision of deep cooperation between OKX and the Solana ecosystem. Jeff emphasized that OKX Wallet is a one-stop entry point for Web3, and OKX Ventures is also a deeply involved participant in the industry ecosystem. Jeff mentioned three key points of future OKX and Solana ecosystem cooperation in his speech:

OKX will strengthen its partnership with Solana through activities such as marketing, KOL cooperation, hackathons, and developer training camps, empowering Solana’s brand influence in the Chinese-speaking market. At the same time, through the collaboration of both parties, connecting top institutions and ecological projects, promoting OKX Wallet’s entry into the global market, and creating a “Web3 super gateway”.

2. Comprehensive support for ecological projects

OKX hopes to provide comprehensive support for Solana ecological projects, including technical integration, liquidity solutions, and resource docking, to help high-quality projects accelerate growth and build a prosperous ecosystem. At the wallet level, it will be upgraded to DeFi Earn and Solana Eco Hub, with added on-chain data analysis and ecosystem entry, etc.

3. **Stablecoin application:Solanaon-chain payments andDeFinew opportunities

Stablecoin is one of the important use cases for the implementation of blockchain technology, and Solana is the ideal environment for stablecoin applications. In 2025, the two parties will focus on exploring the scalable application of stablecoins on the Solana chain, covering payments, DeFi, and more scenarios.
