Jinshi data news on February 25th, US President Trump said on Monday that Russian President Putin is accepting the idea of Europe sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine, which is part of the ceasefire protocol. French President Macron said Europe is ready to provide assistance. Trump and Macron outlined measures to negotiate an end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict during their meeting at the White House. ‘Yes, he will accept,’ Trump said when talking about Putin accepting peacekeeping forces. ‘I deliberately asked him this question, and he has no objection to it.’ Macron said that a ceasefire needs to be negotiated first, followed by a secure and peaceful protocol. ‘We are ready and willing to provide these security guarantees, which may include troops, but they will be there to maintain peace,’ Macron said. ‘They will not be at the front line. They will not be part of any conflict. They will be there to ensure that peace is respected.’ Trump said of Ukrainian President Zelensky: ‘He may come to sign the (mining) protocol this week or next week, which would be a good thing.’
