Golden Finance reported that US President Trump and Russian President Putin talked on the phone. According to the Kremlin, the two leaders continued to discuss the situation in Ukraine. Putin briefed Trump that on the 19th, Russia and Ukraine will exchange 175 detainees. Putin stated that Russia supports resolving the conflict in a peaceful manner and is willing to work with the US partners to develop a feasible mediation plan. The plan should be comprehensive, stable, and long-term, while also considering the absolute necessity of addressing the root causes of the crisis and Russia’s legitimate interests in the security field.
