Gate News Report, March 23: European stock markets opened lower across the board. The Europe Stoxx 600 Index (pan-European benchmark) fell 1.28%, the UK FTSE 100 Index declined 1.44%, the France CAC 40 Index dropped 1.48%, and the Spain IBEX Index decreased 1.86%.
