Gate News message, April 27 — Galaxy Digital (Nasdaq: GLXY) will release its Q1 2026 financial results before market open on Tuesday, April 28, with CEO Mike Novogratz and management hosting a conference call to discuss the results. The investment firm is expected to post weakened Q1 earnings, with negative earnings per share of approximately $0.93.

Q1 was a challenging period for crypto markets, marked by multiple high-profile security breaches and widespread fearful sentiment. Galaxy Digital’s results are viewed as a lagging indicator of overall crypto market performance. Ahead of the announcement, GLXY shares traded at $24.90, with minimal net gains year to date, though the stock has risen over 62% in the past 12 months. Nine downward revisions to Q1 earnings estimates occurred over the past three months, reflecting deteriorating market conditions.

Despite the weak earnings outlook, analyst sentiment remains largely positive. Multiple firms have initiated or maintained buy ratings, with price targets ranging from $35 to $50. Chardan initiated coverage with a buy rating and $35 price target on April 27, while Canaccord Genuity and BTIG both maintain buy ratings with $50 targets. Rosenblatt has a $39 price target, Piper Sandler rates the stock overweight at $36, and Goldman Sachs holds a neutral stance with a $21 target. Analysts view GLXY shares as undervalued despite current market headwinds.

As of April 2026, Galaxy Digital holds over $609 million in crypto assets, including 4.56K BTC and 42,000 ETH. The portfolio contains multiple tokens from previous bull cycles and is largely underwater. The company has shifted focus toward artificial intelligence, building its 1.6 gigawatt Helios campus for AI computation in Texas, leveraging existing mining infrastructure and energy contracts. Galaxy Digital has secured $1.4 billion in financing for the AI pivot and expects to complete the first phase of the Helios project. Additionally, Galaxy Digital’s tokenized GLXY shares on Solana show limited adoption, with only 81 holders and 0.0075% of shares tokenized.
