Iran Says Suicide Drone Production Surged 10-Fold Since 12-Day War Ended

GateNews

Gate News message, April 16 — Iran’s military said on April 16 that suicide drone production has increased roughly 10-fold over the past seven months following the conclusion of the 2025 “12-Day War,” according to a statement by Ali Reza Shaikh, a senior Iranian Army official.

Shaikh noted that all military operations carried out during the recent conflict were based on plans devised by the late Brigadier General Mohammad Baqeri, commander of Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff, seven months before the war began. These strategies were distributed across all military branches, including the Aerospace Force and Army.

The official added that should adversaries launch further attacks, Iran will mount a strong response based on existing deployments.
