Gate News message, April 15 — Vertex Holdings, the venture capital arm of Temasek, announced on April 10 that Dilhan Pillay, CEO of Temasek Holdings and Temasek International, will assume the role of board chairman effective April 15. Pillay will succeed Teo Ming Kian, the current chairman who is retiring from the board. Vice Chairman Lee Kheng Nam is also stepping down.
The leadership transition comes as Temasek undergoes a major restructuring announced in August 2025, which includes the creation of three wholly owned entities from April 1, 2026, to focus on Singapore, global, and partnership investment solutions. In November 2025, Temasek also announced the integration of Pavilion Capital and Seviora Holdings to form an asset management group with over S$90 billion in assets under management.
Vertex Holdings, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Singapore, manages nearly $7 billion in assets and oversees more than 300 active portfolio companies. The firm reported net profits exceeding $100 million in fiscal year 2025.
