The European Crypto Initiative (EUCI) is renamed to the Ethereum European Institute (EEI)

Gate News message: On March 31, the nonprofit European Crypto Initiative (European Crypto Initiative, abbreviated as EUCI) announced at the EthCC[9] conference that it has officially changed its name to the European Ethereum Institute (European Ethereum Institute, abbreviated as EEI). The organization said that Ethereum has become a core infrastructure layer for Europe’s digital economy, and that this name change is intended to align with this reality. EEI positions itself as a public-infrastructure policy research institution for Europe’s digital future. It will provide independent, evidence-based analysis to examine regulatory issues affecting Ethereum, its developers, and users, connect protocol developers, civil society, enterprises, and policymakers, and translate technical realities into practical policy recommendations.
