The U.S. deployed assets such as the USS Ford aircraft carrier, B-2 stealth bombers, and ATACMS missiles, aiming to destroy Iran’s leadership and military targets through sustained strikes. The operation resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, prompting Iran to launch a counterattack codenamed “True Promise-4,” targeting multiple U.S. bases in the Middle East. The conflict caused casualties among U.S. personnel and triggered disruptions in the global energy supply chain and rising oil prices.
