Gate News message, April 16 — U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Kaine stated that American forces are ready to resume operations at any time. The military will conduct enforcement operations in Iranian territorial waters and international waters, implementing a blockade on all vessels entering or departing Iranian ports.

The blockade will apply comprehensively to maritime traffic to and from Iranian harbors.
