ZachXBT criticized Circle for not taking action in the Drift hacker incident, with millions of USDC flowing out via CCTP

Gate News message, April 2, a well-known on-chain detective ZachXBT posted criticizing Circle, pointing out that the Drift hacker incident occurred during U.S. trading hours—millions of USDC were transferred via CCTP (Circle’s cross-chain protocol) from Solana to Ethereum, while Circle took no action. A few days ago, Circle froze at least 16 corporate hot wallets, and these wallets are still slowly being unfrozen. ZachXBT said, “Circle is the bad actor in this industry.”
