A satirical musical "Luigi: The Musical" has taken San Francisco by storm, with tickets selling out in less than 24 hours. This 60-minute stage production is performed at the Tyler Street Theater, which has only 49 seats, uniquely setting the story in a Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center with three controversial figures as cellmates: UnitedHealth Group CEO shooting suspect Luigi Mangione, the founder of the now-defunct crypto assets exchange FTX Sam Bankman-Fried, and musician Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is facing federal criminal charges.

It is worth noting that this dramatic setting is not entirely fictional. Last December, these three well-known figures from different industries were indeed simultaneously detained in the facility. The musical cleverly portrays the three prisoners as failed representatives of the healthcare, technology, and entertainment industries, sharply satirizing the issues present in each of their sectors through the unique setting of the prison.

The actor Jonny Stein, who plays the main character, shared his creative philosophy during a media interview: "We are curious about the entire social system, especially the healthcare system, which is our focus..." The show has sparked deep reflections among the audience on power, wealth, and responsibility with its unique perspective and critical spirit.
