Exodus partners with MoonPay to launch stablecoin payment product, officially launching in early 2026

【Block Rhythm】Self-custody wallet platform Exodus Movement and stablecoin infrastructure provider MoonPay officially announced their partnership. The two parties plan to jointly launch a fully reserved USD stablecoin, with MoonPay responsible for issuance and management, based on MoonPay’s existing open stablecoin infrastructure development.

This new stablecoin will be integrated into Exodus’s payment solution Exodus Pay, allowing users to directly use the stablecoin for transactions and payments in the future. According to the plan, this payment product is expected to be officially launched in early 2026, providing users with a more convenient payment experience.

This collaboration reflects the current trend of integration between stablecoins and the payment sector, creating new possibilities for Web3 payment applications by combining wallet and payment infrastructure.

Stablecoins are coming again, and it has to be with a self-custody wallet to be trustworthy. This time, Exodus's private key management logic is fine, but I'm worried there might be some issues with MoonPay's contract audit... Launching in early 2026? That timeline seems a bit too relaxed.
