#稳定币市场发展 I just saw CZ's year-end Q&A, and that part about stablecoins really opened a new world for me 🤯
I used to think stablecoins were just USDT, USDC, and the like, and it sounded like the market was already saturated. But CZ said what we see now is only "Generation 1.5 stablecoins," and the true Stablecoin 2.0 version hasn't been launched on a large scale yet... What does this mean? I feel like it's saying this track is just getting started?
Another piece of data that really shocked me—cryptocurrency penetration rate by total wealth might still be less than 1%! Does this mean the market size still has several orders of magnitude of growth potential? Although I haven't fully understood what "several orders of magnitude" specifically means in terms of multiples, it feels like huge potential.
Honestly, this also makes me a bit anxious. If the stablecoin track is just beginning, would entering now be too late? Or is it actually an opportunity for newcomers because the track itself is still in early stages and market education isn't mature enough?
Can experienced players give some advice? How should beginners view the stablecoin sector at this stage? Should we observe and learn first, or can we try small amounts to experience it?
